Fulper, Clifton & More, Wisconsin Pottery Association New Jersey Exhibit and Pottery Show The Wisconsin Pottery Association will hold its 12th annual Pottery Show and Sale on Saturday August 25, 2007. All types of antique and collectible pottery will be on sale from 9am until 4pm, one day only. Some 50 Pottery dealers from across the nation will participate, as well as noted studio potters. Fulper, Clifton and More: The Art Pottery of New Jersey is the theme of this year’s exhibit. Visitors will see a great selection of New Jersey Pottery including Fulper, Clifton, Stangl, Volkmar, Vontury, Mountainside, Trenton and more. The ever-popular What Is It? will again be part of the event— bring your mystery pottery item to the show (two per admission) and Wisconsin Pottery Association members will informally identify and evaluate it. Buyers can expect our 50+ dealers to be selling pottery and dinnerware dating from 1880’s to the present. Styles range from Art Deco and Streamline to Arts and Crafts, Mid-Century modern, and Art Nouveau, from companies such as Fulper, Rookwood, McCoy, Roseville, Weller, Cowan, Red Wing, and many more. The Pottery Show and Sale, and the Exhibit: Fulper, Clifton and More: The Art Pottery of New Jersey will be one day only, Saturday, August 25, 2007 in Madison, Wisconsin at the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center, just off Rimrock Road near John Nolen Drive. From I-90, take exit 142A, Hwy 12-18 west 5 miles to Exit 262, Rimrock Road then, north ¼ mile. For a map, visit our website www.wisconsinpottery.org or see our display card. The Exhibit and Show will be open from 9am until 4pm. Admission will be $4. Parking will be $5.00 or free with a parking coupon downloaded from the WPA website or any official WPA ad or display card. The coupon or ad must be presented to the parking attendant at the Alliant Energy Center for free parking.
